Ângulo de ocorrência do pico de torque extensor e flexor do joelho nas posições sentada e supina

Resumo

O ângulo de ocorrência do pico de torque (âPT) fornece subsí­dios para a elaboração de protocolos de treinamento muscular. Poucos estudos têm avaliado o âPT sob diferentes angulações do quadril e a grande variabilidade de amplitude de movimento entre os indiví­duos dificulta essa comparação. O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar a influência das posições sentada e supina no ângulo de ocorrência e na magnitude do pico de torque (PT) dos músculos extensores e flexores do joelho considerando a amplitude de movimento articular individual. Quinze homens (idade: 23,07 ± 3,08 anos; peso: 72,28 ± 7,66 quilogramas; altura: 1,78 ± 0,05 metro;) realizaram dez contrações isocinéticas concêntricas de extensão e flexão do joelho nas posições sentada (85º de flexão do quadril) e supina (10º de flexão do quadril) a 60º/s. Os dados foram relativizados de acordo com a amplitude máxima de flexão do joelho. O PT extensor do joelho foi maior na posição sentada em comparação a posição supina: 194,87 ± 34,84N.m e 169,13 ± 32,23N.m, respectivamente (p=0,045). O PT flexor do joelho também foi significativamente maior na posição sentada em relação à posição supina: 117,07 ± 21,08N.m e 92,07 ± 14,63N.m (p=0,001). O âPT extensor foi atingido a 41,35 ± 7,54% e 33,61 ± 7,40% (p=0,008) da amplitude total do joelho, nas posições sentada e supina respectivamente. Enquanto o âPT flexor foi alcançado a 32,50 ± 7,29% e 24,94 ± 6,39% (p=0,005) da amplitude do joelho, em ambas as posições. Conclui-se que a posição supina proporcionou uma antecipação do âPT extensor e flexor do joelho, e a posição sentada favoreceu uma maior magnitude do pico de torque extensor e flexor do joelho.
