Quantificação da carga de treinamento em jovens atletas: uma revisão sistemática da literatura

Resumo

O objetivo do presente estudo foi apresentar uma revisão geral da literatura sobre os diferentes métodos de quantificação do controle da carga interna de treino em jovens atletas do sexo masculino. As bases de dados utilizadas foram SportDiscus, PubMed, LILACS, Google Acadêmico e Research Gate, com pesquisa entre Julho de 2016 e Janeiro de 2017, tendo os resultados limitados a jovens atletas de modalidades de esportes de raquete e voleibol, de alta competição, do sexo masculino, selecionados artigos publicados entre o ano de 2002 e 2016, em português (Brasil ou Portugal) e/ou inglês. Foram usadas as palavras-chave: (young tennis players OR young badminton players OR young volleyball players) AND (training load OR monitoring training) AND (stress OR strain) AND (perceived exertion) AND (creatine kinase OR blood creatine kinase). Foram encontrados 3.281 na análise prelimiar. No entanto, 3231 foram excluí­dos após a leitura dos tí­tulos e abstracts. Desses, selecionaram-se 21 artigos para leitura na í­ntegra, no entanto 14 artigos foram excluí­dos, pois não atenderam os critérios de elegibilidade descritos no método, sendo selecionados 7 artigos para compor a presente revisão de literatura. Parece existir evidência cientí­fica de que a intensidade, frequência e duração do treino influenciam nas respostas psicológicas e fí­sicas de jovens atletas de tênis e voleibol, onde, quanto maior a carga externa de treino (perí­odo), a intensidade do treino, maiores são os sinais e sintomas de estresses psicológicos, e mais elevadas são as respostas bioquí­micas referentes ao estresse muscular.
