A Modulação hormonal mediana pelo treinamento resistido impacta na hipertrofia musucular
Resumo
O presente estudo teve dois objetivos: Identificar se diferentes configurações de Treinamento Resistido (TR) impactam de forma diferente nos níveis hormonais de testosterona, GH e IGF-1; E se as modulações hormonais desencadeadas pelo TR impactam positivamente os níveis de hipertrofia muscular, e se essas modulações são essenciais para que esses processos ocorram. A revisão em questão foi realizada através de pesquisas por meio eletrônico, em sites acadêmicos, como Google Acadêmico, Web of Science, PubMed, sem restrição de data. Foram considerados estudos que analisaram os níveis hormonais estimulados por diferentes configurações de TR e sua relação com a hipertrofia muscular. Foram incluídos estudos que analisaram os níveis hormonais (testosterona, GH e IGF-1) associados ao TR, e foram excluídos estudos que utilizaram modelos animais. Conclusão: O TR influencia o ambiente hormonal pós-exercício, principalmente quando se considera a seleção do exercício, carga, volume e intervalo de descanso, entretanto, esse efeito não está diretamente relacionado ao aumento dos níveis de hipertrofia muscular, e não parece ser um aspecto chave para que a hipertrofia ocorra.
