Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Settings Contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the editor".
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
  • URL settings for referrals have been provided when possible.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors on the About the Journal page.
  • Illustrations, figures and tables must be positioned within the text in their appropriate place. If necessary, authors must submit illustrations and figures in their own format, at the request of the publisher.

Author Guidelines

ARTICLE SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

The RBPFEX adopts the rules for preparing manuscripts that follow the standards of the Brazilian Association of Technical Norms (ABNT) which are based on the International standard - ISO (International Organization for Standardization), depending on the characteristics and specificity of the RBPFEX presents the following standard.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

The submitted article must be typed in double space, A4 size paper (21 x 29.7), with an upper margin of 2.5 cm, lower 2.5, left 2.5, right 2.5, without numbering lines, paragraphs and the pages; the legends of the figures and tables must come in the place of the text, in the same file.
Manuscripts that do not comply with the following instructions regarding style and format will be returned without review by the Editorial Board.

 

FILE FORMAT

For the text, use a text editor of the type Microsoft Word for Windows or equivalent, Arial font, size 12, the figures must be in JPG, PNG or TIFF formats.

 

Scientific Articles - Original

Space intended for the publication/dissemination of original studies/research, of an experimental or applied scope, and or systematic reviews or on meta-analyses and that have Prescribed Physical Exercise and Physiology as parameters.

Scientific Articles - Review

Space destined for the publication/dissemination of scientific reviews, with a Narrative/Analytical objective, of relevant conceptual meaning in the context of Prescribed Physical Exercise and with parameters in Physiology.

Cartas ao Editor

Space destined to receive comments/critical analysis or not from readers/authors about published articles, where comments/analysis will be answered.
