Kinematic measures between exits of athletics and grab in the performance of swimmers
Abstract
It is accepted in the scientific literature to sports that involving time as a determining factor for victory, it is necessary to improve the technical aspects involved in the movements of athletes. The aim of this study was to compare the grab star (SAG) and track star (SAT) in the performance of swimmers. The study included eight swimmers (19.0 ± 3.93 years, 69.6 ± 7.25 kg, 1.79 ± 0.07 height). We used a camcorder for image acquisition and later analyzed in the software variables: reaction time (RT); flight distance (DV), duration of 15 meters (T15); speeds (VDE). We used descriptive statistics and paired Student t test using parametric analysis to assess differences between the types of outputs (SAG and SAT) in RO, DV, D15 and VDE. Best results were checked for track star (SAT) for the variables TR, T15 and VDE (p < 0.05) and no difference between the outputs for DV. Based on these results, we conclude that the track star (SAT) showed better results in performance swimmers speed. These results can be used as a base for swimming coaches in strategic planning training for their athletes.
